The Motor Trade Partnership was set up to give traders the opportunity to show they are commited to customer care and satisfaction. The scheme was set up by North Lincolnshire Council and is operated through Trading Standards who regularly check members to ensure they are following guidelines. Membership is voluntary, so members are showing commitment to giving customers a fair and honest deal. As a member of the Motor Trader Partnership, Richtoy Motorsport Ltd work closely with Trading Standards to ensure that we follow these guidelines.

The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) is recognised as the leading motor trade organisation. It plays a major part in the important motor trade issues, including the ‘Good Garage Scheme’. Celebrating it's 90th birthday in 2003, the RMI has evolved, along with the industry it serves and has helped influence government, the motor trade and public thinking. Membership is voluntary, although a company must be of a high standard and meet set criteria to become a RMI member.
